Album

Perfect Strangers is the eleventh studio album by the British rock band Deep Purple, released in October 1984. It was the most successful album recorded by the reformed 'Mark II' line-up. It was the first Deep Purple studio album in nine years, and the first with the Mk II line-up in eleven years, the last being Who Do We Think We Are in 1973. Ritchie Blackmore and Roger Glover arrived from Rainbow, Ian Gillan from Black Sabbath, Jon Lord from Whitesnake, and Ian Paice from Gary Moore's backing band. Perfect Strangers - Deep Purple. Perfect strangers Deep Purple Album: Perfect Strangers, 1984 Sub español, Lyrics Strangers: ExtrañosDesconocidos Peticiones Purple's definitive Mark II lineup reunited for 1984's Perfect Strangers. It is one of the better examples of a reunion album, although the band's uneasy camaraderie only lasted a few more years. Knocking at Your Back Door opens the album with a roar. Ian Gillan's lyrics don't make much sense, but Ritchie Blackmore's guitar riffs and Ian Paice's thunderous drumming carry this song as well as the rest of the album. The robotic rhythm of the title cut relies on Jon Lord's organ work. The 1999 remastered reissue features the bonus track &qu. Then again, did Deep Purple ever have more than one or two really good, concise numbers on an album Maybe theyre just making the kind of record they always did, the only kind they know how to make. So why are they doing this To cash in on the current heavy-metal craze, in which dozens of young upstarts are making fortunes playing Purple riffs. Its nice that Perfect Strangers got the Purples out of their respective mansions too bad they didnt venture farther from home. Popular on Rolling Stone.
