White Hot is the fourth album by the rock band Angel. After the release of On Earth as It Is in Heaven, bass guitar player Mickie Jones left and was replaced by Felix Robinson who himself was replaced in 1980 by Rudy Sarzo before Angel's breakup in 1981. This album contains Angel's only top 50 hit, Ain't Gonna Eat Out My Heart Anymore, which went to 44 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1978. The single spent eight weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. White Hot by ANGEL (70'S OPPOSITE ANSWER TO KISS) AKA Rather Than Knights Is Satanic Service This was Knights in White Satin ~ THIS BAND IS JUST WHITE HOT METAL ~ Angel was discovered by Kiss bass player Gene Simmons performing at a nightclub and was eventually signed to the same label as Kiss ~ Guitarist Punky Meadows, Bassist Mickie Jones, Vocalist Frank DiMino, Keyboardist Gregg Giuffria, & Drummer Barry Brandt ~ members of Angel went on to other things following the release of their live album. Lead vocalist Frank DiMino joined UFO guitarist Paul Raymond in the Paul Raymond Project in which he sang lead vocals. Bassist Felix Robinson played on the debut album of the band White Lion, Fight to Survive.
